For patients

Patient information

Everything you need to know before you arrange an appointment.

Self-referral

  • Privately insured patients and self-paying patients are both welcome.
  • Direct self-referrals are welcome. A GP referral is not needed to arrange a self-referred private consultation, subject to any requirements of your insurer.
  • Book through Spire or contact the practice secretary.

Insured and self-paying patients

Dr Verghese sees both insured and self-paying patients. If you are insured, please check with your insurer before booking, as policies and recognised consultants vary.

Consultation fees

New consultation£300
Follow-up consultation£180

Consultation fees are the same at all three locations. Any additional investigations, procedures or treatments may be charged separately; these will be explained to you in advance where applicable. Insurers differ in what they reimburse, so please check your policy before your appointment.
